Finni Health is Hiring an Autism Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician TRAINING PROVIDED Near Akron, OH

**We currently are hiring for a candidate with availability to work 4-8PM** Some slight flexibility in these times for the right candidate, but must be available after school/evening hours Monday through Friday.***

MUST be comfortable working with a young adult with an Autism Spectrum Disorder who can be super fun! Training provided. Comfort dealing with behaviors to include aggression with the appropriate training and support. You will work in the individual's residence facility.

**This is a part-time position with potential to advance into a full-time position in the future (timeline unknown).**

Now hiring part-time candidate for above after school and evening therapy times. This would be a perfect fit for someone who is a paraprofessional, support professionals, daycare provider, teacher, tutor, coach, etc. for after-school hours working with our learner! We also encourage college students who might be looking to gain experience working with children or children with disabilities to consider applying. This would be a great fit for someone who intends to go into the education, social services, or psychology fields and provide valuable experience to your future endeavors.

Working for us, you’ll receive lots of direction and support from our experienced BCBA Behavior Analysts as you learn to implement Applied Behavior Analysis or ABA therapy. You’ll support your assigned learners in their homes or community settings, such as daycares, preschools, and schools. No stagnant office settings! You’ll get to make a major impact on a learner and improve their future significantly through your work and also work with and improve the lives of their families.

Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) teach children of all ages a variety of skills that are meaningful for them. Some examples of these skills that might pertain to your learner are: communicating effectively with others, asking for their wants and needs, following directions, completing daily living skills, and interacting and playing with peers. You might teach a child how to say their 1st words, how to play with their friends, or how to take care of themselves. And we teach you how to harness the power of science to do this through play!

We provide the training! We provide an opportunity for you to learn everything you need to know about Autism and ABA therapy. We will also provide the training you need to prepare you to obtain your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification with the Behavior Analytic Certification Board. We can teach the right candidates how to be exceptional technicians for these children.

Ourhourly pay is above industry standards and determined by degree and experience.

The ABA Therapist / RBT / Behavior Therapist works in home and community with children, adolescents, with autism and other developmental disabilities. Behavioral Therapists implement protocols, take reliable data, and work closely with members of the client’s team.

Required Education and Experience

1. Previous experience working with children

2. Excellent time management skills .

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

5. Strong commitment to providing quality behavior analytic programming.

6. Enthusiastic, self-motivated to teach and learn more about Applied Behavior Analysis.

7. Enthusiastic and great desire to work to with children diagnosed with autism

3. Organization- Must be organized for effective time management and use of resources.

5. Flexibility- Must be able and willing “wear many hats” and adapt to changing business needs as the company grows; Must be able and willing to work overtime as needed

6. Ethical Conduct- Must uphold and enforce the company’s ethical standards and comply with local, state and federal law

7. Problem Solving- Demonstrates subject matter knowledge commensurate with experience. Solves problems using multiple problem-solving tools and techniques using appropriate resources, personal knowledge and experience with whatever data are available given the situation.

8. Collaboration- Must work well with other departments/functions.

9. Communication- Must communicate effectively to employees, clients; Must speak, write and read English at the necessary level to safely and competently perform all job duties

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a client's home and/or community environment. Employees must feel comfortable going into client homes and neighborhoods within assigned territory.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This role is primarily sedentary, but is occasionally mobile. The incumbent is occasionally required to bend, stoop, reach, lift, walk and stand; and is regularly required to talk, hear, see and speak. Employees must be able to lift at least 30lbs.

This is a part-time or full-time position with varied hours based on client needs. After school availability is a must.
