Prepares for all events

• Performs all client set-up requests (e.g., stage placement, set-up and tear-down, reset, audio/visual equipment, furnishings)
• Compile and maintain inventory of all furnishings and equipment prior to and immediately following events
• Perform cleaning duties and maintenance for all assigned areas including building interiors (e.g., office spaces/hallways, bathrooms, flooring, furniture), trash disposals, window and entrance exteriors and interiors, and equipment/machinery
• Perform assembly, painting, and transportation of various surfaces and furniture for events
• Secure all fairground and event buildings, facilities, and grounds when not in use.

Maintains all fairgrounds, fairground buildings, equipment, and associated items

• Perform repairs, general and preventative maintenance, replacement, or fabrication of all necessary plumbing and electrical fixtures/fittings, building parts, or equipment/machinery.
• Operate power equipment (e.g., saws, drill presses, sanders, tractors, mowers, forklifts)
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities, grounds, and equipment; conduct replacements as needed
• Perform various grounds maintenance (e.g., mowing, weed control, snow removal, deicing)
• Maintain adequate inventory of all custodial and building supplies.
• Respond to facility maintenance emergencies
