Summary The Lead Videographer is responsible for creating engaging, on brand, conversion focused product videos for Finish Line and JD Sports US digital properties. This role is responsible for video production from start to finish, including pre-production, shooting, editing, animation, and post-production. The Photo Studio Lead Videographer will mentor and manage the studio video team. Produce, edit, and oversee production of high quality, well-lit, well-composed, compelling and creative content in line with brand guidelines Manage a team of one or two videographers, providing leadership and direction to the team. Edit photo and video content in appropriate post-production software Consistently meet deadlines, monitor and report production metrics for the video team Executes and direct video capture both on model and off model while meeting studio standards, style guide and creative direction. Operate and maintain cameras, audio recording devices, lighting, and editing technology Define and problem solve lighting and imaging needs as needed. Responsible for initiatives for Finish Line & JD Sports websites, social channels and stores. Execute video capture for corporate collateral and promotional material, to use internally as well as for marketing, such as store photo shoots, wall setups, or video for digital signage, events or any other special requests Responsible for complying with all studio internal processes Define, lead and drive process improvement events within the video team Participate in process improvement throughout the studio Responsible for developing and keeping video production guidelines up to date Own video team KPIs for productivity, timeliness, quality and reshoots Work with studio team to create workflow efficiencies to ensure best use of internal and external resources Demonstrate ability to set and meet time-bound goals. Coordinate off-site video/photo sessions Publish video and audio files; review and approve video and audio production for team Assist in the maintenance and organization of the video studio, gear, and production supplies Stay current on ecommerce, video and photography trends including global and consumer trends, assessing and communicating their potential impact to the business Ability to work in a creative, fast paced environment Additional duties as assigned. Required Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in photography/film plus 2-4 years professional work experience. Should have advanced expertise working with Canon professional video camera equipment and a working knowledge of video lighting techniques. Must have expert proficiency in all aspects of video editing. Required Computer and/or Technical Skills Should be fluent in both Mac and PC operating systems. Should have expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite especially Adobe Premiere Pro. Experience with Apple Final Cut is a plus.
