1798 seeks a dynamic, hands-on account supervisor to be the primary interface between clients and its internal creative studio focused solely on the market access environment. Payers (and the other key stakeholders in the market access ecosystem) play an increasingly influential role in a brand’s success, so designing and developing clear and compelling ways to communicate with them is more critical than ever. Objectives of This Role:

This role requires extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills. You’ll be responsible for providing leadership in account management, including day-to-day account activities and strategic guidance to clients. You must have a solid understanding of all things managed markets marketing. We’ll require you to work with account leaders and our internal studio to facilitate optimal client service and a quality experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to think strategically, creatively, and collaboratively
• Excellent understanding of all tactics and collateral pieces designed for the managed markets environment and its key stakeholders (e.g., payers, integrated delivery networks, group purchasing organizations, patient support service providers, provider practice managers, field reimbursement teams)
• Highly effective communication skills
• Ability to effectively work with multiple team members 
• Demonstrate solid presentation skills
• Maintain strong and solid client relationships, elevating any issues to senior management
• Key day-to-day client-facing member of the account team
• Take responsibility for development of projects and assist in the execution of deliverables
• Assist in SOW development; able to draft SOW with direction (descriptions, tactics, budgets, and timelines) while collaborating with management
• Support the account team in brand plan development and identify any gaps in managed markets marketing tactics
• Support the account team and participate at workshops and brainstorming meetings internally and with the client
• Communicate strategy and tactical plans effectively across the team

Job Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of pharmaceutical managed markets agency experience
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal skills
• Bachelor’s degree
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical medical, legal, regulatory (MLR) review process and systems
• Understand FDA rules/regulations and life cycle of a brand
• Active client service management, working directly with clients and executing projects
• Strong multitasker: ability to run multiple projects, priorities, and client demands

• Solid grasp of brand operations: understanding the nuts and bolts of the account (brand style guide, PRC process, key data, etc)
• Solid understanding of Veeva systems and client requirements
• Understand market access fundamentals (positioning, messaging, creative concept) and how they all work together
• Understand brand’s/account’s key customers
• Understand competitors and advocacy groups for each account/brand

• Ability to travel to clients occasionally
