Findlay Warehousing is a smaller family-owned warehouse and logistics business looking to add another person to our team. We are looking for a well-rounded individual to maintain our buildings and equipment. The ideal candidate would be someone with experience with heavy equipment maintenance, basic building maintenance such as electrical and plumbing. This person would be capable of working on forklifts, learning how to maintain any equipment that they don't have previous experience with. The ability to work efficiently, report progress on tasks they're performing, and show dedication to keeping our operation running to the best of their ability.

Primary Job Duties

• Scheduled maintenance and repairs on all of our equipment. This would include semi-trucks and trailers, forklifts, company vehicles, air rotators, generators, mowers, and dirt equipment.
• General wiring and plumbing tasks.
• Building maintenance, repairs, and weekly tests of water suppression systems.
• Capable of working with contractors for any tasks outside of your scope of ability in terms of wiring, plumbing and building maintenance.
• Operating mowers and landscaping equipment in the summer months, in the winter operating snowplow and salt trucks. Willingness to learn and operate a front-end loader with a pusher.
• Ability to learn and operate dirt equipment during the summer months. Equipment includes front end loader, excavators, trammels, and screens.

Requirements:

• Ability to operate aerial lifts, heights reaching up to 40 feet.
• Years of experience or certificates of training in maintenance and automotive. Heavy equipment certifications are a plus!
• Knowledge or certificates in electrical, basic networking, and plumbing.
• CDL-B, CDL-A, or the ability to obtain either classification.
• Organizational skills, being able to maintain work orders, maintain progress on tasks. Can switch projects when needed, and the knowledge to help with ordering parts or determining parts that need ordered for maintenance tasks.
• Experience or certifications in welding would be a plus!

Shift

• 1st Shift Monday - Friday Hours negotiable upon interview
• Overtime is available, and at times needed based on weather conditions

Pay

• Negotiable based on experience and willingness to learn
