Young man with MD has never had a caregiver before so this is very new to the family that will be two nights a week,

Thursdays and Saturdays from 7 to 11 PM

 meal prep light housekeeping, a shower and help the young man to bed

40.00 an hour

Must have live scan, drivers licence ,

Passport , drivers licence ,Covid vaccinated, 2 professional references and skill set to transfer

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.

Duties:

- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines
- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Support clients with social interactions and engagement
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Requirements:

- Prior experience in caregiving or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Familiarity with hospice care principles is a plus
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
- Proficiency in assisting with medication administration
- Capability to lift and transfer clients safely when needed
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Understanding of care systems and protocols
