Find Great People | FGP is Hiring a Construction Administrator Near Greenville, SC

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Construction Administrator. The ideal candidate will have experience within the Architecture, Engineering, General Contractor, or Construction (AEC) industry, preferably with a background in contract administration and project management. While experience in these specific fields is preferred, we are open to considering candidates from related industries, especially those with exposure to commercial and residential real estate.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the VP of Preconstruction and Senior Project Managers in various project-related tasks.
  2. Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  3. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to facilitate project progress.
  4. Handle contract administration tasks, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, change orders, and other project-related documents.
  5. Implement and maintain efficient project management processes and systems to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide project updates, address issues, and resolve conflicts as they arise.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to optimize project performance and maximize profitability.
  8. Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in the AEC industry, with a focus on contract administration and project management, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with commercial and residential real estate projects is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for processes, systems, and efficiency improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
