We are currently looking for a Bindery Operator to join our team in Santa Ana, Ca. This position is responsible for setting up and operating print finishing machinery in a high-volume print and mail processing environment.

This is a full-time position with frequent overtime opportunities on a recurring basis. We’re looking for reliable candidates who are eager to grow in a fast-paced production environment. Machine Operation experience is preferred but not required. Entry level and experienced operators are encouraged to apply!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and set-up machines that perform print finishing operations, such as, inserting, folding, cutting, tabbing, UV coating, Inkjet, GMS cold glue folder, IBIS booklet maker and GEP finishing equipment in a demanding high-speed environment.
• Follow all established quality control procedures to consistently produce accurate and quality work.
• Flexibility in work schedule, frequently 10 or more hours per day and some weekend shifts, is required on a recurring basis.
• Additional work, as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Must have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing, production, or related environment.
• Experience operating industrial-sized production machinery, especially bindery machinery, is preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Continuous standing and movement of the upper body for up to 10 hours a day. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and focus adjustments.
