Program Associate, Financial Services Consulting and Research
SCOPE OF ROLE
The Program Associate, Financial Service Consulting and Research is responsible for delivering high-quality consulting and research projects for the financial service's audience. This role is part of the Financial Services Solutions team, which provides consulting services and thought leadership on consumer financial health to financial institutions from large global banks and payments companies to early stage startups.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
LOCATION
Chicago, Washington D.C., or Fully Remote (U.S. Based)
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE
$55,000 - $65,000 (Annual)
The skills and experience of qualified candidates will determine the exact compensation for which this job is filled.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A commitment to the mission of Financial Health Network and a desire to positively impact the trajectory of a highly-impactful, national nonprofit
  • 2 years of professional experience and demonstrated success in consulting or applied research.
  • Financial Services industry market knowledge and curiosity.
  • Demonstrated commitment to embedding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across all internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Good presentation skills; an ability to communicate with influence and motivate multiple audiences.
  • Superior organizational, project and time management skills with strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Strong and efficient writing skills; ability to quickly synthesize data and present succinct, cogent arguments verbally and in writing
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to set priorities, problem-solve and multi-task while paying attention to detail.
  • High degree of flexibility to work in an innovative, fast-paced environment and readily embrace change.
  • Ability to commit to up to 10% domestic travel, with very occasional evening meetings (1-2/quarter).
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate as a team member on a range of consulting and research projects for the financial services market.
  • Perform desk research, and conduct analysis with limited help.
  • Contribute perspective and insights advising clients to design, launch, and adapt financial solutions and strategies that improve consumer financial health.
  • Manage and complete assigned tasks from start to finish using project management tools and strong communications skills.
  • Support the development of proposals and budgets for consulting and grant-funded opportunities that are financial services-related.
  • Contribute to client facing events, such as workshops and conferences.
