Finan Templeton Dermatopathology Associates, the leading dermatopathology laboratory in Atlanta, is seeking an experienced, intelligent, positive, and accurate Medical Billing Clerk, to become a member of our extraordinary team. The ideal candidate is productive, accurate, functions well in a team environment, and demonstrates exceptional customer oriented telephone skills. This is a full-time, career oriented position with training available.

Position Requirements Include:
Excellent communication/telephone etiquette
Ability to read and decipher data accurately
Ability to learn new tasks
Perform multiple tasks effectively

Duties / Responsibilities:
Research / resolve patient billing inquiries
Answer incoming calls, transfer calls and or take messages
Perform posting charges
Scan patient documents into patient information system
Verify insurance eligibility
Assist with other Laboratory tasks

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Medical insurance/billing background
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Medical terminology
