Fimco Industries is Hiring a Pricing Analyst Near Sioux, SD

Pricing Analyst Job Summary:

The Cost Analyst is responsible for conducting market research on competitor pricing for similar products, reviewing previous sales data and company revenue needs, and analyzing, then presenting data to make pricing recommendations for company products. 

Cost Analyst Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conducts ongoing market research to recommend changes to product pricing 
  • Stays up to date on industry trends and new products
  • Analyze pricing effectiveness; provide detailed insight into key performance indicators for revenue tracking, future planning, and strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor competitive market, including any competitor pricing variances 
  • Review previous sales data and company revenue needs to determine accurate market pricing based on findings
  • Identifies prior price fluctuations and compares previous sales trends to determine the cause
  • Submits reports and/or present findings to the senior leadership team
  • Identifies marketing strategies to increase revenue
  • Recommends applicable product sales and clearance prices as needed to attract more customers and move product
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Cost Analyst Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business required
  • 3 years of related experience required
  • AS400 experience a plus

Cost Analyst Other Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, as well as accounting software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
