This role is responsible for building the refrigeration system for process water chillers according to detailed specifications. These machines are used to remove heat in a variety of process applications, from large-scale bakery operations to medical equipment. The refrigeration specialist lift and aligns components like compressors and evaporator tanks into the chiller frame, then fabricates the rest of the refrigeration systems using various methods and materials. This is a highly technical production role, that combines efficient practical assembly skills with refrigeration knowledge and experience.

Overtime hours available.

• Ability to fabricate and assemble structural and functional components of refrigeration system, using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints to determine location, size, capacity, and type of components needed to build refrigeration system.
• Experience soldering and brazing in a production environment
• Experience with refrigeration equipment and refrigerant handling best practices.
• Ability to work in an unsupervised capacity
• Willingness to supervise and instruct others as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour
