Filamatic is Hiring an Inventory Clerk (contract) Near Baltimore, MD

Inventory Clerk

Filamatic is seeking an Inventory Clerk who will manage the materials for productions (kitting, staging, and delivering materials) and maintaining accurate inventory levels in the storeroom. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring we continuously have the needed materials on hand as well as proactively ensuring the production and manufacturing teams have the materials ready for them when they need them. The successful candidate will be well organized, proactive, and eager to learn our business to help continuously improve our operations. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the incoming and outgoing inventory through receiving, pulling and issuing, kitting, transporting activities while ensuring that the inventory remains organized and controlled in all warehouses.
  • Perform daily inventory cycle counts, spot counts and reconciliation process to ensure that delivery is available to fulfill customer demands.
  • Investigate any variances via root cause analysis and resolve appropriate inventory adjustments after approval.
  • Dispose of scrap and obsolete inventory as directed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of inventory experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent data entry and organizational skills with high level of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
