About us
We are a retail pet nutrition store in San Antonio. Our customers are our top priority, so excellent customer service skills are a must.
You will receive training in holistic pet nutrition for dogs and cats, and will learn to assist customers in the selection of appropriate foods and supplements for their pets. You should have an interest in improving the health and well-being of our companion animals. Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10-6, so you must be available to work any or all of those days, as well as several holidays. Most Saturdays are required!
This is a permanent part time position, starting at 15 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours.
Great customer service skills are a must, both in person and on the phone. In addition to serving customers (both 2 and 4 legged!), you will be expected to help receive, stock, and price merchandise, as well as help to keep the store clean and organized, and the shelves stocked. You will be required to perform any necessary cleaning tasks while on duty. Reliable transportation, and the ability to lift and carry 40 pounds frequently is required. Basic computer skills are necessary for running the point of sale system/cash register, and for creating and printing documents and signs.

- Strong organizational skills
- Previous experience in retail sales is a plus
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a bonus
- Experience with upselling and product demonstrations is advantageous
