Fidelity Manufacturing is Hiring an Enclosure Assembler - 2nd shift Near Ocala, FL

FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the backup Power Generation Industry. We design and build back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time.

Enclosure AssemblersWe are looking for the perfect candidate to expand our Housing team!
Applicants should be:

Able to work well individually or in a team environment.
Complete a pre-employment drug screening.
Display being detail oriented with exceptional hand/eye coordination skills.
Able to solve basic mathematical equations.
Able to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions.
Able to work with hand tools and tape measure.
Able to interpret specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.

Overview

The Assembler is responsible for the assembly of various precision aluminum housing parts and ability to work as a team to complete a fully assembled unit. They are also responsible for safely moving parts and heavy frames on and off machinery and throughout the facility.

Equipment/Machinery Used
Forklift, Tape Measure, Hand Tools

Essential Functions

Squaring up and assembling various shapes of enclosure components
Read drawings, prints, and understand channel detailing.
Use of basic hand tools, wrenches, ratchets, screw drivers, etc. and able to work with a tape measure.

Required Qualifications/Training

Completion of orientation and safety training of various operation equipment.
Adhere to the 90day probation period and continuous training plan.
Ability to perform various instillation techniques in correspondence to Construction, Framing, Drywall, and Hardware installation.
Learn both interior and exterior assembly process in accordance to the employee training plan
Work to continuously improve the operations of the department through our Continuous Improvement Plan.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $17.00 per hour

Location: 1101 SW 37th Ave., Ocala 34474

Schedule:

2^nd shift (will switch to 1st shift at some point)
10hr shifts
Willing to meet overtime demands.

Please note: All employees must also be able to work in a warehouse setting that includes exposure to noise, all weather conditions, small levels of airborne particles and occasionally lift more than 50-75lbs. Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards, and company policy.
