Job Description:

Manager, Program Management

Role

Fidelity Charitable is looking to hire talent with strategic, analytical & “big picture” thinking to support the delivery of E2E projects from concept to fruition – including technology and/or process & procedural initiatives.

You will support Fidelity Charitable’s transformation towards digital-first experiences, working alongside Program development, Program management & NCS Domain teams to drive the successful launch of new products & programs. This role must be comfortable coming to the table with a “consultative lens” – uncovering available data sources to assist with deriving & articulating business value, and the ability to manage work across the project lifecycle including effective stakeholder management & communication.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Passion for cultivating relationships:

  • Work closely with FC Program teams, Agile/Technology Teams & Business Partners (LRC, Marketing, Fundraising, Analytics, Service Delivery & Operations) to develop, understand & articulate business requirements, while providing support where needed in user story development

  • Provide input into backlog prioritization and validation, KPI development & “definition of done” activities

  • Support the development and delivery of operational readiness documents, business process changes, and user training materials in partnership with cross-functional teams

  • Cultivate & maintain relationships across teams to manage expectations, change procedures & provide outstanding communication

  • Strategic Foresight:

  • Balance scope, quality, effort, schedule, budget and risk at all times

  • Facilitate discussions around user requirements for accountability – fluency between business & technology teams

  • Strategic problem solver with an analytical approach

  • Ability to question the status quo

  • Business/Data Analysis:

  • Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, JIRA & Vizio a plus

  • Process/use case workflow development experience

  • Familiarity with Mural or MIRO creation/navigation a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications: Word, Powerpoint, Excel

  • Portfolio Management:

  • Assist Charitable teams in identifying interdependencies, overlap, and reusable opportunities

  • Experience in project management methodologies & responsibilities; progress tracking, resource allocation, risk/change management & excellent written/verbal communication

  • Support the content development and visibility of org readiness materials

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent with 5 years of experience

  • Program management, Project management and/or Business Analysis a plus

  • Customer obsessed, with a curiosity to understand their lifecycles and areas of improvement

  • Curiosity, autonomy & the passion to constantly learn

  • Understanding of project lifecycles & the ability to articulate their importance in all phases of your work

  • Champion a reimagining of current processes

  • Support a strategic vision from concept to execution

  • Cross-functional project support in a matrixed environment

  • Leadership-ready reporting

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
