Fidelity Investments Careers is Hiring a VP, Regional TPA Consultant- WEST/CENTRAL US LOCATIONS Near Merrimack, NH

Job Description:

This role partners with our selling teams, supports our business development efforts with Third Party Administrators, and builds our presence in the TPA retirement plan marketplace. You will identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with TPAs in your region. You will focus on educating TPAs, firms, and partners on our services and processes. You will also partner and be responsible for key projects with our Director of TPA Programs. Mostly, you will be serving our TPA partners in ways that support their ability to grow and provide excellent experiences for our mutual clients.

The Team

Fidelity Workplace Investing Sales is a collaborative, conscientious, fast-moving and exciting environment. We serve the small businesses of America by assessing their needs and offering creative solutions through Fidelity’s 401(k) solutions, education and services. In this role you will have direct responsibility for working with a team of top-tier sales professionals to help bring the value of Fidelity’s retirement solutions to our TPAs, Core segment clients, and prospects. You will focus on growth and increased traction in the TPA market segment.

The Expertise You Have

  • Experience in a business development or sales role
  • Understanding of TPA value proposition and experience
  • Track record of running successful initiatives and projects
  • Passion for relationship building and partnering
  • Process-oriented mind-set combined with a dynamic and flexible operating style
  • Project organization, management, and deployment
  • Series 7 & 63 licenses need to be acquired upon accepting the role
  • Previous experience and knowledge of the retirement benefits landscape are must-haves
  • Up to 75% Travel required

  • External communication and relationship management experience that positions you to be an ambassador for Fidelity’s TPA-friendly solutions

  • Agility and flexibility – the ability to reconcile conflicting demands and pivot as needed to seize opportunities
  • Curiosity about people, business, economics, and our product solutions

The Value You Deliver

  • Develop a TPA network focused on growing and better servicing clients with Fidelity
  • Create TPA sales strategy with selling teams
  • Engage TPAs in business planning and drive new business through regional sales events, marketing efforts, and advisor interactions
  • Support selling teams to deliver best in class sales meetings with TPAs
  • Work with TPA firms to train, engage, and employ best practices to work with Fidelity’s recordkeeping system
  • Advocate on behalf of the TPA externally and internally to support market share growth and retention efforts
  • Be a liaison between TPA and Fidelity to find right services, resources, and support for TPA partners
  • Contribute to product development and process improvement efforts
  • Other duties as assigned.
The base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $75,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
