Seeking dependable, professional, attentive, and thorough Personal Care Assistant(s) to assist a professional, active quadriplegic man (50ish) in the Alpharetta/Johns Creek, GA area. The assistant will assist with the morning/evening care routine and activities of daily living. The residence is equipped with a ceiling-mounted electronic Hoyer (patient) lift for transfers. Training on specific care needs and equipment will be provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, bathing, Grooming, Dressing, Personal Hygiene, Bowel/Bladder Care, Transfers, Range Of Motion (stretching), Meal Planning/Preparation, Feeding, Light Housekeeping, Laundry, Errands, Organizing, Accompanying on appointments, personal activities, and Driving an adaptive vehicle (minivan).

SKILLS: Caring and Compassionate personality, Detail Oriented, Punctual, Dependable, Responsibly Mature, Organized, Team player with Stable lifestyle, Good communication skills (verbal & listening), Looking for consistent/long-term employment, and shared weekend availability.

SHIFTS: 6a-6p; 6p-2a (full-time, part-time)

Open - Sun, Mon 6p-2a; Sat 6a-6p; 2 days 6a-6p

QUALIFICATIONS;
2 years of personal care experience
Current CPR, First Aid & TB Test
Driver's License w/Clean DMV
Reliable transportation
Non-smoking and pet-friendly
Clean Criminal Background and Drug-Free

Provide 3 Professional references
CNA, PCT, MA, HHA credentials (preferred)
Within 30 miles of Alpharetta/Johns Creek/Roswell (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
