Overview: (Statement of Work Project - long term project)
Experience: Must have 8 years of U.S.A work experience.
Communication: Must have great communication skills to interact with leaders and other Southwest Airlines employees.
Hours/Time Zone: Must be able to work 8am CST - 5pm CST! (CST & EST candidates highly preferred & more likely to get interview request.)
Travel: Must be available to travel 1 week to Client Headquarters in Dallas to work (could be quarterly or monthly depending on manager. (Expenses paid by Client and Vendor)
Vacation: No international travel / long vacations for first 90 days.
International Remote is not an approved policy at SWA.
Environment: Agile/Scrum/2-week sprints; Daily Video conference meetings
Cloud Architect/Tech Lead Required Skills:
AWS Experience (Combination of AWS Developer and Solutions Architect Skills)
Python and Java Experience
ETL Building (Extract, Transform, and Load) Experience
Can Educate New-to-AWS Technologists in best practices
Can work with unclear requirements
System Architect aspirations is a plus
Experience with AWS to Anaplan Integration is a plus
