Location: Nashville, TN

Fidé is currently seeking an RN with Progressive Care Unit / Telemetry experience for a 13-week contract in Nashville, TN

Minimum Requirements: The following experience is required: 2 years of current Progressive Care Unit / Telemetry experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU Step-Down, PCU, and Progressive Care units.
- Perform catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding as needed.
- Utilize EMR and EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient information.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor physiological parameters.
- Administer basic life support and respond to emergency situations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in airway management and provide health coaching when necessary.
- Collect and process specimens for diagnostic purposes.
- Adhere to all relevant certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Maintain professionalism and uphold ethical standards in all interactions with patients and colleagues.

Unit Capacity: 24 Beds Population Served: Pre and post heart transplant, LVAD therapy, permanent device therapy, unstable arrhythmias, advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathy, Acute Coronary Syndrome, pre and post cardiac surgery and other related cardiac disorders. Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60 ) Nurse to Patient Ratios: 5:1

• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS
• Current NIHSS
