Job Description Type: Step Down, PCU

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Fidé is currently seeking an RN with Step Down experience for a 13-week contract in Milwaukee, WI

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU Step-Down, PCU, and Progressive Care units
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and report any abnormalities
- Assist with procedures such as catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding
- Utilize EMR and EHR systems to maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Stay current on best practices and advancements in critical care nursing

Minimum Requirements: The following experience is required: 2 years of current Step Down experience. EOW; EOH; 2 years PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience required; may need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Compliance Credentials Needed for Submission:

• Current WI RN License – compact allowed
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS
• Current NIHSS
• COVID Vaccination Card, no exemptions allowed
• Resume
• Two Past Supervisor References (must have job title, email, valid phone number)
