Overview:

Fidé is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care in emergency situations.

Responsibilities:

- Assess patients' conditions and implement appropriate nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform triage to prioritize patient care based on acuity levels
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress
- Operate medical equipment for diagnostic purposes
- Provide education to patients and families on disease prevention and management

Skills:

- Experience in emergency room or critical care settings
- Proficiency in IV insertion and medication administration
- Ability to ventilate and provide respiratory support
- Skilled in family planning, infant care, and medical imaging
- Knowledge of nursing home procedures and home care practices
- Competency in administering injections

We are currently seeking an RN with Emergency Room experience for a 13-week contract in Lebanon, NH.

Minimum Requirements: The following experience is required: 2 years of current Emergency Room experience. EPIC EMR experience - required
2 years of ED experience - Required
Recent travel experience (at least 6 mos) - Required
TNCC - Highly Preferred
Their Emergency Department provides diagnostic and treatment services for patients presenting with a wide range of injuries and illnesses. With a goal to have all patients who come to the ED seen within 30 minutes of their triage, APD's staff of physicians and nurses provides fast, accessible, professional, and compassionate care for the residents of the Upper Valley.

Provides direct nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Room with acute/primary care and emergent medical needs using the nursing process; assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care needs
Must be able to recognize and establish priorities
Must be able to set objectives and goals for work assignments and patient care delivery
Maintains competency in using medical equipment
Complies with hospital, nursing department, and unit policies and procedure
Patient population: Pediatric through Geriatric
# of beds in unit: 6
RN to patient ratio: 1:3
EMR: EPIC
Dress code: any color scrubs

• Current NH RN License – compact allowed
• Current AHA BLS
