*Ensures a safe working environment through modeling safe behaviors, leading audits/inspections, correcting unsafe behaviors, conducting safety meetings, and utilizing proper work methods, procedures and equipment

*Provides direct supervision to production and/or hourly employees

*Evaluates employees’ performance and provide feedback

*Drives continuous improvement in safety, productivity, quality and spending

*Supports lean manufacturing efforts and projects

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent required; some college preferred

- 3-5 years of progressive manufacturing / production line responsibility required

- 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing or production environment required 

- Manufacturing and production safety knowledge required

- Mechanical aptitude

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

- Strong attention to detail, quality focused and willing to learn.

- Ability to lead by example and work well with others.

- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the success of the company.
