Job Title: FIX Connectivity Specialist (Remote/Hybrid- Report to an office once a month in tandem with your team) Location: Washington DC or Tri-State Area

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new FIX connections between external customers and internal systems.
- Utilize Helm Charts and ConfigMaps to configure, deploy and optimize FIX connectivity solutions.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing FIX protocol implementations.
- Respond promptly to system issues, troubleshoot, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for FIX protocol implementations, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including client operations, connectivity, and IT operations, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Participate in meetings and discussions related to system enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution.

Required Skills:

- Proficiency with FIX encodings, protocols, and versions.
- Experience in deployment and configuration of FIX gateway instances.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm Charts and ConfigMaps.
- Experience with counterparty testing, certification, and project management.
- Ability to troubleshoot client issues, debug network connectivity, and liaise with engineering teams.
- Proven experience as a FIX Connectivity Specialist or in a similar role within the financial industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
