Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new FIX connections between external customers and internal systems.
Utilize Helm Charts and ConfigMaps to configure, deploy and optimize FIX connectivity solutions.
Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing FIX protocol implementations.
Respond promptly to system issues, troubleshoot, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for FIX protocol implementations, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including client operations, connectivity, and IT operations, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Participate in meetings and discussions related to system enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution.
Required Skills:
Proficiency with FIX encodings, protocols, and versions.
Experience in deployment and configuration of FIX gateway instances.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm Charts and ConfigMaps.
Experience with counterparty testing, certification, and project management.
Ability to troubleshoot client issues, debug network connectivity, and liaise with engineering teams.
Proven experience as a FIX Connectivity Specialist or in a similar role within the financial industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
