The mission of the OFR is to support the Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC) in promoting financial stability by: collecting data on behalf of FSOC; providing such data to FSOC and member agencies; standardizing the types and formats of data reported and collected; performing applied research and essential long-term research; developing tools for risk measurement and monitoring; performing other related services; making the results of the activities of the OFR available to financial regulatory agencies; and assisting such member agencies in determining the types of formats of data authorized to be collected by such member agencies.
 
The Google Analytics expert will provide OFR with technical assistance in operating the new Google Analytics software for GA property 4. Assistance will be required in reviewing the current migration from Universal Analytics to GA4 and training the current staff on maximizing the use of GA property 4. The technical assistance will include assisting in reviewing and correcting any migration issues, setting up custom content groups, working with developers to ensure effective use of tag manager, and downloading data from the Universal Analytics property and building out Google Looker Studio dashboards for OFR staff. The work is fully remote / telecommute.
 
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Partner with our team to understand objectives and develop an analytics framework that aligns with these goals.
•  Assist or train our staff on downloading all relevant data from the OFR Google Analytics Universal Analytics (UA) property in the best way to build historical dashboards. Advise on the integration of GA4 with other tools and platforms, including Looker Studio, to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities.
• Look at the current instance of GA4 to provide recommendations for improvement. Provide expert guidance on the setup and configuration of GA4, ensuring a comprehensive tracking plan that captures all relevant data points.
• Setup profiles, audiences, events, conversions, custom attributes/parameters in GA4 and help design advanced measurement & tracking for cross channel campaign execution.
• Assist in developing custom reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights, driving decision-making processes.
• Offer training and support to our team on GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio best practices, enabling us to maintain and adapt the strategy over time.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 or more years of IT experience
• Google Analytics property 4 and Universal Analytics experience
• Excellent writtenand verbal communications

Certifications Required

• Google Analytics Certification

Security Clearance

• Public Trust High (Tier 4/BI) Risk Level
• Must be a US citizen
