Job Title - System Supervisor

SUMMARY

As the front-line supervisor of a specific service area, the System Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of his/her designated System.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

• Assign specific routes to all Technicians, respond to any work-related needs/assistance they may require while performing their duties. Be available at all times to respond while Techs are in the field.
• Communicate directly with customers when needed to resolve trouble call issues.
• Transfer to the Fleet Manager for repair, all maintenance-related issues. 
• Observe and maintain all in-house reports (TCC, VOD, etc.) and respond to all inquires in a timely and efficient manner. Submit paperwork to corporate office as needed and within specific timeframes.
• Ensure that 10% of total jobs completed in an area have gone through a QC inspection and results have been accurately recorded. Take appropriate actions for inadequate QC results, according to management guidelines.
• Responsible for maintaining satisfactory performance results from each employee in your workgroup. System Supervisor may issue employee disciplinary action when needed.
• Conduct a final review and approval of all employee timesheets.
• Conduct weekly workgroup meetings, reviewing and discussing; safety, procedural changes and other pertinent topics
• Monitor the on-going training of all employees within your workgroup. Arrange for advanced training as needed. 
• Follow all required company & OSHA safety rules.

Requirements

SKILLS

• Knowledge in residential and/or commercial cable, HSI and CDV installation and basic construction knowledge of residential/commercial structures. 
• Customer service, excellent communication, self-motivation and time management are all essential.
• Ability to read and interpret operating instruction and procedures, write routine reports, correspondence and be able to communicate effectively to groups of customers or employees.
• Possess basic mathematical skills, common sense understanding and the ability to resolve problems with several variables in standardized situations. 
• Knowledge of computer systems and the ability to troubleshoot technical difficulties.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

• High School or GED preferred. Requires a minimum of 5 years cable installation experience with similar management experience.
• Must possess the ability to regularly lift/carry up to 100 lbs, climb a ladder and work at heights and dark, enclosed areas. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors.
• Requires the successful completion of all pre-employment testing and a valid driver’s license.
