Employment Term and Type: Regular, Full Time.
Required Security Clearance: Public Trust with Ability to obtain a clearance up to a TS with SCI eligibility.
Required Education: BA or BS in management information systems, business management, engineering management, or other related discipline with 3 years of applicable experience; or AS or AA degree with 5 years of experience in lieu of degree. Job Description:The Project Analyst is responsible for supporting successful management of multiple projects at any given time. Understands the project life cycle and can initiate, plan, execute, control and close projects. This position will report directly to the Program Manager and will be accountable to the Project Manager. He/she should be proficient in Microsoft 365 and have a working familiarity with Microsoft Project. The candidate must be organized and quick to respond to actions/data calls. Daily interactions will be with direct supervisor, client, and other members of the project teams.Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Support Project Manager on day-to-day management of Project(s) tasks.
- Communicating with a project team and the project manager.
- Researching the project to create a plan, analyzing, and organizing data.
- Reviewing project goals, including the budget and timeline.
- Maintains project documents in accordance with the statement of work.
- Assist in all phases of project management.
- Responsible for capturing & managing requirements, tasks & schedules.
- Develop Project Plans, Integrated Master Schedules, System Requirement Documents, Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M), and Work Breakdown Schedules (WBS).
- Develop linkage of POA&M and action items as they relate to task outlined in WBS.
- Communicating with stakeholders and create reports about project progress.
- Predicting potential issues, creating solutions and completing work on time
- Responsible for material requirement management & tracking of orders.
- Coordinates meetings and leads as required.
- Support leading integrated planning teams (IPT) in achieving organizational goals.
- Develop & update monthly briefings in support of the client to the sponsor.
- Travels to support project sites as required.
Required Experience: 3 years with Bachelor degree or 5 years with Associate degree.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Project is required.
- Ability to organize and manage numerous project files & working documents.
- Strong understanding of funding management and various supporting spreadsheets.
- Ability to work within a flexible team environment with excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with all levels of project support staff and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, as well as establish and maintain a strong customer focused working relationship.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) desired.
- Familiarity with US Air Force IT systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio & Sharepoint/Intelshare.
