Essential Duties:

• Dispenses all medication uses at Family Guidance Centers under procedures set by FGC, OAC, CSAT and the DEA

• Processes patients from assessment to discharge in both medication assisted treatment and drug free treatment programming

• Completes initial nursing assessment documentation

• Follows up on TB screening process

• Follows up on medical referrals

• Updates patient prescription records

• Processes medical alerts using SAMMS software

• Documents all services performed in their appropriate service categories

• Monitors appropriateness of methadone and other medication dosages

• Monitors physical well-being of clients and makes notes of specific findings

• Confers with medical doctors on specific medical findings

• Complete breathalyzing tests of clients as needed

• Completes OASA reports of dispensing, methadone counts, and medical visits as needed

• Follows methadone accounting reports of dispensing 

• Follows safekeeping procedures for methadone/other medications

• Completes nursing notes and accurately processes physician orders

• Other duties as assigned

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: L.P.N. registered in the State of Ohio and certified in CPR  required.
