Metro Prep High School, Grade School and Laureate Day School have been educating and supporting students with special needs for over 25 years supported by FGC.  Using a multidisciplinary approach, Metro Prep and Laureate Day School provides educational and therapeutic learning opportunities in a small, nurturing environment. This allows our staff to tailor each student’s program to meet his or her individual needs.

Essential Duties:

• To maintain clinical responsibility for a full caseload of students and their families

• To collaborate with co-workers in the implementation of the IEP

• To conduct individual psychotherapy and drug treatment for teenagers abusing or dependent on substances on weekly basis as designed on the IEP

• To conduct family therapy sessions as needed

• To lead or co-lead scheduled therapeutic and substance treatment groups weekly

• To maintain accurate clinical documentation (i.e. IEP goal tracking, quarterly progress notes, incident reports, therapeutic summaries)

• To attend district staffings as required

• To meet weekly with the Clinical Director/Clinical Coordinator in supervision

• To participate in weekly Case Conference Presentation

• Other duties as assigned

Regular School Year Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00a - 3:30p)

Summer School Session: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri (8:00a - 12:30p); Wed (8:00a - 3:30p)
