Families First is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our orthodontic treatment coordination team, committed to providing exceptional customer service. Our Stansbury clinic has an opening for a part time position.

Work Schedule: 2-3 days a week

This position's primary role to assist Orthodontists in orthodontic examinations by documenting existing conditions and recommended treatment, exposing recommended radiographs, explaining treatment to patients and their guardians, drafting contracts, scheduling patients and following up with recall patients as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Confirm Appointments (consults, starts, debands, etc)
• Verify specifics of Insurance Plan - Incl confirming when there is no coverage
• Track referral sources - notate in software
• Report ortho KPI's to office manager
• Meet monthly with office manager and ortho providers as needed
• Expose radiographs - panoramics, cephalometrics and other images prescribed by ortho providers
• Keep accurate recall records and follow up with patients
• Retain scheduled patients - consults, new starts
• Maintain effective and appropriate communication between colleagues and patients. Schedule patient appointments, and constantly strive to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and parents

Requirement:

• Have Orthodontic Knowledge
• Complete and maintain Radiology Safety and Health certification as defined by State Law
• Complete and maintain Basic Life Support training as defined by Families First Pediatric policy
• Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, and appropriate practice standards at all times
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of State Law as it is related to infection control and cross-contamination protocols
