Position: Dental Receptionist

Location: South Jordan, UT

Type: Full-Time

Shift: Monday-Wednesday 7:45am-4:30pm, Thursday 11:15am-6:00pm, and Friday 7:45am-4:00pm

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist patients with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a positive first impression of our practice.
  • Accurately collect and update patient information, including personal and insurance details, to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Accept payments for services, co-pays, and outstanding balances, providing receipts and assisting with billing inquiries.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments for patients, ensuring convenient and timely access to care.
  • Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and route calls to the appropriate staff members or departments.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage, ensuring accurate billing and reducing financial burdens for patients.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Professional verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, parents, doctors, and team members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Denticon experience preferred
  • Bi-lingual preferred
