Lifeguard team members are responsible for the care and safety of all guests, dispatching riders on water attractions, and assisting guests in and out of the water. We are currently looking for a: Noah's Ark - Lifeguard - International II Roles & Responsibilities: Roles & Responsibilities Dispatch riders down water slides Assist guests onto mats and tubes Roam entire area of assigned pool, scan water for distressed swimmers Physically assist distressed swimmers to safety in both shallow and deep water Enforce weight and height requirements Provide first-aid to injured guests when authorized Report customer and safety concerns as well as lost children to management Clean up assigned area (including parking lots) at end of shift Assist in other departments as needed Performs any additional duties instructed by Lead, Supervisor, or Manager Preserve landscaping (including pulling weeds) Other Must be 15 years old Endure long hours of continuous work on your feet Capability to lift moderate weight (10-40 lbs) Ability to push, pull, reach, and lift Ability to swim, wade, and stand (sometimes in moderate currents) Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions Demonstrate ability to perform all water rescues and assists Proficient swimmer and able to pass prerequisite skills test Pass Ellis and Associates Lifeguarding course (Swim 200 yards doing Front Crawl or Breaststroke, Retrieve 10 lb brick from 11 ft of water, and Tread water without hands for 2 minutes) Comply to all uniform policies Demonstrate excellent Guest Service Team member benefits: What We Offer Do not miss the chance to spark your career now!
