We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a self-motivated Staff Auditor to perform External Auditsto join our growing team. In this role, you will perform financial statement audits, Single Audits and other related services for nonprofit and governmental entities in Arizona. This position is a hybrid role with an in-office/WFH structure. While applicants need to reside in the metropolitan Phoenix area, you have the option to work from home 3 days/week.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR STAFF AUDITOR:

• Prepare working papers and manage audits for nonprofit and/or governmental entities
• Prepare nonprofit and/or governmental financial statements
• Work within a team environment to perform a prominent level of service for our clients
• Some travel may be required for this role

An ideal candidate demonstrates a prominent level of professionalism, is responsive and produces high quality work.

REQUIRED SKILLS FOR STAFF AUDITOR:

• Bachelor’s Or Master’s Degree in Accounting, OR
• Bachelor’s degree in another field, with at least 24 hours of accounting courses completed
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Adobe

PREFERRED SKILLS FOR STAFF AUDITOR:

• Certified Public Accountant licensed in Arizona, OR 150-hour requirement met to qualify for CPA license
• Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently, and also collaborate with and lead other team members
• Solutions oriented, resourceful, with excellent problem-solving skills
