Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment (excavator, dozer, loader) in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures
- Efficiently be able to operate machines for earth moving, pipe installation & grading operations
- Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance
- Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers
- Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner. Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse
- Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation
- 3 years of experience with earthwork and civil construction
- Willingness to learn and follow all safety policies and requirements
- This position requires climbing, kneeling, bending and crawling often as well as the ability to work on ladders, platforms and mechanical lifts
- Must be able to understand English
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Work EnvironmentAs an Operator, you will be subject to various work environments. Environments include but are not limited to the following: high/low temperatures, areas close to traffic, loud and frequent noises, confined spaces, heights, indoor/outdoor settings.
