The Customer Service and Sales Specialist provides essential support to sales operations for the custom manufacturing services division. The primary purpose of this role is to be the internal contact for sales in managing customer needs and requirements. The CSSS maintains ongoing rapport with contacts at assigned accounts while serving as a “voice of the customer” to Ferriot manufacturing and other internal functional areas.

Key competencies include:

• Participate in and oversee all aspects of customer records and order management including price verification, order entry and confirmation, shipment logistics, product complaints and disposition of returned materials.
• Work alongside Sales Account Managers to fulfill the needs of assigned customer accounts.
• Coordinate closely with Buyer/Planner/Scheduler/Shipping to fulfill customer order need by dates.
• Assists in creating special RFP responses.
• Daily communications with customer contacts via phone and email.
• Participate in internal and customer meetings as needed.
• Evaluate and document customer related processes.
• Back up to other team members as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
