YOU WILL:

• Maintain Fermilab's Personal Property by inputting data into the Fermilab Assets system.

• Perform physical inventory of items stored in warehouse/railhead.

• Process incoming and outgoing excess and scrap materials ensuring that the assets are documented in the Fermilab Personal Property Management Software Program

• Conduct verification audits of capital equipment and sensitive items inventories.

• Maintain "Equipment Held for Future Projects", spares and tooling materials stored in a controlled storage areas.

• Identify, collect, and sort scrap metals for recycling.

• Operate motorized and non-motorized materials handling equipment, and may be required to drive vehicles up to a GVWR of 16,000 pounds, requiring a valid Illinois state driver's license.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Abide by and be responsible for performing all duties in accordance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and practices pertinent to this position.

Minimum required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree with a discipline in Business Administration preferred but not required plus a minimum of 1 years of experience.

Applicable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required: Experience and/or trained forklift operator and in a warehouse environment. Must have a valid driver's license.
