Ferguson is Hiring a Route Planner (FT) Near Chantilly, VA
- Sole responsibility for planning next day orders for private and 3rd party fleets.
- Evaluate and coordinate all special delivery requests.
- Monitor overall fleet performance compared to customer requirements.
- Provide data for Data Driven Decision Making.
- Work alongside sales team on scheduling of next day orders.
- Maintain Dispatch Track data for drivers and vehicles.
- Coordinate last minute additional runs via our truck or courier.
- Required to be on-site 5 days per week.
- High school diploma/GED.
- 2 years of prior dispatching experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
- Dispatch Track software experience preferred but willing to teach the right candidate.
- Well organized, strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity, and professionalism.
- Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
- Out of the box problem solver with a strong sense of urgency.
