The Field Professional role at our company is a dynamic position requiring self-motivation and adaptability. The incumbent will be responsible for responding to service and reinspection calls, conducting troubleshooting, installations, and repairs in various weather conditions. Additionally, overseeing residential service 1099 crews, maintaining communication with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to company standards are essential components of this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to service and reinspection calls as assigned by the manager.
• Conduct troubleshooting, installations, and repair work in the field, adapting to varying weather conditions.
• Supervise residential service 1099 crews to ensure compliance with Ferguson standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain regular communication via email, phone, text, and face-to-face interactions with customers, installation crews, and Ferguson team members.
• Notify direct supervisor promptly of any changes in schedule or service department needs.
• Conduct post-installation job site visits to review the quality of work performed by installation crews and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Source and deliver materials to job sites, including operating standard and dump bed trailers.
• Assist other departments as directed by management.
• Collaborate in determining warehouse inventory requirements and maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and yard areas.
• Fulfill other duties as needed to support the department and company, under the direction of management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience in field service, installation, or related work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to perform tasks in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to undergo additional training as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
