Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Recreation Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating recreational activities for our participants, in an adult medical day care setting.

Duties:
- Plan and implement a variety of recreational programs and activities
- Coordinate schedules and logistics for events and programs
- Communicate effectively with participants, staff, and vendors
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during activities
- Maintain equipment and supplies for recreational programs
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements

- Documentation of recreation interventions, care planning and incidents.

- Supervising activities, staff and implementation of policy and procedures for floor staff.

Qualifications:

- 3 Years previous experience in organizing recreational programs is a requirement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety protocols for recreational activities
- CPR and First Aid certification is desirable

Coordinators are required to work a rotating opening and closing shifts that range between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm.

No weekends are required.

Off most major holidays, position also accrues PTO based on hours worked.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
