The anticipated wage for this position is $22.00-25.00 per hour.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you’ll pay a key part in keeping Fenix Outdoor’s financial path clear. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Finding solutions with the Fenix community: contact customers with past-due invoices and work collaboratively to find payment solutions
  • Financial finesse: Process payments, research payment disputes, and ensure timely and accurate daily cash posting
  • Communication is key: Maintain positive relationships with internal departments and customers through clear, professional communication
  • Team player: contribute to a dynamic and supportive work environment by being willing to lend a hand

This full-time position is based in our Louisville, CO corporate offices and reports to the Credit Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Contact accounts that are past due and assist with getting payments
  • Process credit card payments
  • Research payment disputes
  • Generate and send statements and invoices to accounts
  • Communicate with the credit department, account services, and sales team regarding delinquent accounts
  • Facilitate communication between departments as necessary
  • Post cash daily and balance to bank statements
  • Communicate to appropriate departments on payment deductions
  • Continuously improve processes, service, and communication
  • Make decisions and solve problems using sound, inclusive reasoning and judgment
  • Support with finance audits, financial reporting, and other department projects

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have at least two years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Collections.
  • Your written and verbal communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to navigate many situations with tact and clarity
  • You manage time effectively and have exceptional attention to detail
  • You work with a high sense of urgency and perform well under pressure
  • You are comfortable with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • You build positive professional relationships and thrive in a team environment
  • You are willing to tackle multiple daily tasks with energy, passion, and a positive attitude

Preferred, but not required:

  • Previous experience with ERP systems (especially Microsoft AX) is a plus!
  • Experience with collections, aged receivables, and general accounting is always a welcome addition in top candidates.
  • A background in working with wholesale accounts, AP contacts, customer service, and sales representatives is also preferred, but not required
  • A Bachelor’s degree is a plus, but a strong combination of education and experience can lead the way.
