Become part of Feng Cha's vibrant team! FENG CHA is looking for a hardworking Assistant Manager to join our fun, fast-casual cafe. The assistant manager must be a quick learner, willing to roll up their sleeves to work alongside baristas on a day to day basis and cover shifts if necessary. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service and strong leadership skills. Must be available to potentially work on both Saturday and Sundays. We're a popular boba teahouse that recently opened up and located in Costa Mesa. We are seeking individuals who have a passion for tea and desserts, and resonate with the values of our company and respect the lifestyle choices of our customers.

Responsibilities:

Provide quality customer service by handling orders at the register and handing out orders once completed. Cutting and preparing fruits, tea and beverages, smoothies, and dessert using our provided recipes. Ensure that the tea house, all food prep areas, and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards. Help with dish washing (this task is shared among all staff) and overall store cleaning.

Assistant Manager Requirements:

· Prior Leadership experience.

· Must be able to work at least 30-35 hours a week

· Train, interview, and develop new hourly crew members

· Scheduling & supervising employees while ensuring customer satisfaction

· Work a varied schedule including store openings, closings and weekends

· Inventory management

· Maintain quality, service and cleanliness standards

· Carry a friendly, energetic, and outgoing personality and have a passion for great customer service

· Ability to lift 10-25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on occasion

· Must be hardworking, trustworthy and reliable

· Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment

· Oversee all aspects of store operations as required by management

· Job responsibilities and requirements can change according to the operational needs of the business.

· Complete Management ServSafe Certification
