FEMA Corporation is Hiring a CNC Operator - 1st Shift Near Otsego, MI

FEMA Corporation has an opening for a CNC Operator in Component Manufacturing on 1st Shift. The department is looking for motivated team players willing to contribute immediately.

The ideal candidate would possess a two-year degree in Machine Tool Technology, equivalent or willingness to obtain degree as well as 2 years of experience with CNC machining. Demonstrated leadership ability, teamwork, and desire for growth preferred.

Regular work hours are Monday – Thursday, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with availability for overtime as needed.

This is an entry level position

Eventually operators will be trained on the following skills:

  • Machine startup, machine setup, changing tools, performing offsets, preventative maintenance, measurement/inspection capabilities (reading and understanding measurement instructions, measuring parts using micrometers, calipers, etc.), work cell cleanliness
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
  • Computer Knowledge including SPC software (InfinityQS), FEMAnet, MPLUS, TPCL, Daily Production Reporting, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong ability to communicate issues and problems effectively through the proper channels
