Position Summary

Fellowship Village is searching for a Part-time Medical Assistant to work at our medical office in Denville, NJ. We are looking to find someone who exercises good judgment when responding to situations that may arise and maintains a positive image and professional work relationship with all those we care for and serve.

This position will require member to screen patients, ie: Vital signs, call in prescriptions for patients, give injections, set up exam rooms and perform all other functions of a medical assistant while supporting our Physician.

The ideal candidate will be available to work in our Denville Office Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 8:30AM-5:00PM and Thursdays 8:00AM to 12:30PM.

License/Certification:

• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
• Seasonal flu vaccine (Required)
• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• AED Certification (Preferred)

Job Requirements:

• Customer service experience, preferably in medical office setting.
• PC literate, MS Office Suite.
• Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere. Must effectively prioritize tasks and complete them under time constraints.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and to provide information with courtesy and tact.
• Ability to function independently, have flexibility, and demonstrate personal integrity when interacting with clients/residents, families, team members, and others.
• Ability to respond to and work with a mature resident population, creating a warm, caring and supportive environment for the enjoyment of the on-campus and off campus clients and to promote this philosophy to all team members.
