FELLFAB is Hiring a Quality inspector Near Forest, GA

We are currently recruiting for a QUALITY INSPECTOR to join our Forest Park facility. You will be responsible for providing quality inspections on work in-process and on finished products.

You will also ensure that internal procedures and external customer requirements are met through the inspection and documentation of First Article Inspections (FAI’s).

Day Shift Hours :

6 : 30 AM 3 : 00 PM, Monday Friday (may be subject to change)

Responsibilities :

Perform daily tasks within ISO 9001 and AS 9100 policies and procedures

Participate in problem resolution and the implementation of corrective actions and non-conformances.

Assist in Document Control by ensuring the accuracy and the consistency of quality documentation including manuals, certifications, records, quality plans, and First Article Inspections (FAI’s)

Compile objective evidence in support of continuous improvement initiatives

Develop Quality training material and deliver to all levels of employees

Responsible to complete the receiving inspection in SYACC

Complete internal inspections on work in-process, and finished goods as per the Quality Plan. Inspections can include testing, and / or measuring materials or products with rulers, calipers, or gauges.

Review & understand product specifications and work instructions.

Collect and record accurate data regarding defects of daily inspections.

Communicate the results of the inspections (acceptance or rejection) to the production team.

Reject, tag and manage the initial disposition of defective material (physically and in ERP).

Maintain a 5S clean and sustainable work environment.

Complete First Article Inspections (FAI’s) as per the AS 9100 standard

Participate in Quality meetings as required (NCR, CAR, MRB, and RA)

Verify the accuracy of documentation on work orders

Participate in Quality audits as required

Update visual management boards with quality information

Provide visual aids on product conformity where required

Monitor the NCR process by identifying, evaluating, and documenting internal failures.

Conduct receiving inspection as applicable, identifying rejected raw material, and reporting it to Supply Chain.

Coordinating the rejected materials status with Supply Chain.

Investigate customer returns and report to the team

Ensure internal, contract, and customer requirements are met at all times

Qualifications :

Post-secondary education in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Inspection,

Must be able to read and interpret drawings,

Must be able to work within a team environment and on individual projects,

Must be able to communicate with employees at all levels within the organization,

Must be able to manage time accordingly and prioritize projects based on need,

Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to problem solve,

Hands on experience performing quality checks on manufactured products (min. 2 years).

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced challenging environment

Ability to take initiative and recognize needs.

Ability to work independently or in a team.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Must have Computer Skills including general knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Basic Knowledge of Textiles
