Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in a long-term care setting. Your attention to detail and excellent customer service skills will contribute to creating a clean and welcoming environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas

- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors

- Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing

- Launder linens and towels

- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly

- Restock supplies in bathrooms and common areas

- Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines

- Adhere to health and safety regulations

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients

- Handle special requests from clients, such as organizing closets or cleaning specific items

- Perform additional tasks as assigned

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Good physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time

- Custodial experience is a plus
