Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support. This position requires knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Duties: - Greet patients and assist with check-in procedures - Escort patients to treatment rooms and prepare them for chiropractic adjustments - Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history - Assist the chiropractor during examinations and treatments - Educate patients on proper posture, exercise techniques, and lifestyle modifications - Administer therapeutic modalities as directed by the chiropractor - Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information - Handle billing and insurance claims processing - Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns Requirements: - Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of proper body mechanics to prevent injury while assisting patients - Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team Preferred Skills: - Previous experience working in a chiropractic office or healthcare setting is a plus - Certification or training as a Chiropractic Assistant is desirable Note: All positions at our clinic are paid positions, including internships.
