What You'll DoAs a Civil Engineer, you'll help with projects that require you to apply standard practices and techniques. You'll also:
  • Adjust and correlate data.
  • Recognize discrepancies.
  • Follow standard procedures.
  • Build client relationships.
  • Work effectively under pressure.
  • Meet tight deadlines.
What It TakesIdeally, you'll have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. If you have 4 years of experience in civil design and project management, preferably at a professional consulting firm, we want to talk. You should be an EIT at minimum, with a goal of being a licensed professional engineer (PE) or demonstrate the ability to secure licensure shortly after starting employment. Ideally, you will also:
  • Speak and write well.
  • Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Be a team player.
