Feels Like is a brand-new, 25-year-old digital design and innovation studio born out of B-Reel.

Feels Like creates interfaces that do more and feel more, for some of the pickiest brands in the world. With a prestigious clientele including tech and luxury fashion giants Google, LVMH, Airbnb and Moncler, Feels Like sets out with a bold ambition within digital design and innovation.

We are part of the B-reel group, with offices in Los Angeles and Barcelona, and work cross-culturally with a team from around the globe. Feels Like's mission is clear: to help brands craft distinctive stories and unique digital experiences, through a process that balances data-informed methodology, artistic intuition and technical innovation.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced Digital Designer to join our expanding team in Los Angeles. We are seeking someone who has a passion for conceptualizing digital experiences, can build digital products, with a keen eye for visual design. Your expertise should encompass both product design finesse and an eye for experimental, creative projects. It is essential that the candidate is conscious of the importance of brand aesthetics to maintain the essence of the brands we work with and elevate their equity.

The Digital Designer should execute smart, unexpected creative solutions to our client’s business needs and customer needs. Digital Designers are constantly looking for opportunities to bring innovative ideas to every project.

The person we're looking for is an experienced generalist who can work across a variety of mandates, and is eager to broaden their skillset. They'll lead projects together with the Creative Director or Design Director, from conception, to prototyping, to production and launch. The majority of our work in Los Angeles deals with software as a deliverable, so we’re looking for someone curious about digital media at large.

Senior Designers at Feels Like are expected to be equal parts hands-on and leader. They should feel at home rolling up their sleeves and diving into execution, and confident taking a leadership role in the client-facing and higher level parts of a project.

In this role you will:

  • Designing and maintaining world-class digital products, websites and experiences for a wide variety of international clients, with a focus on new technologies, entertainment, gaming, and luxury.
  • Transform abstract ideas and dive into the realms of experimental and visual projects, infusing your creativity into every pixel and frame.
  • Taking ownership of designs and presenting them to clients, while effectively justifying and enhancing design decisions.

Your role will be:

  • Transform conceptual ideas into meaningful creative user experiences.
  • Balance brand equity and exceptional user experiences effectively.
  • Work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet customer needs and align with the client's business vision.
  • Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that result in intuitive user experiences for digital products and digital activations.
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • Present designs to clients, managers, and developers, adapting communication to suit each audience.
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions for core and new features.
  • Collaborate with other creative team members and the technical team.
  • Take smart risks and champion new ideas.
  • Stay ahead of trends with your own ideas.
  • Provide and receive feedback from other designers and stakeholders to continually raise the quality bar.

What we expect:

  • At least 4 years of experience with demonstrated success in creating meaningful designs for complex digital environments.
  • Experience with luxury and fashion, e-commerce is a plus.
  • At ease working in a cross-functional team.
  • Experience in creating and improving long life-cycle digital experiences.
  • Familiar with modern tools like Figma, Framer, Linear.
  • Good level of prototyping.
  • Excellent English level, comfortable with doing presentations to clients and other members of the team.
