Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the company's goals through long-term planning, cross-team coordination, budget analysis, employee motivation, stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem-solving, exceptional critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

· Work with team leaders, managers, and department heads to understand division needs and goals

· Manage budgets and forecasts

• Design and maintain clear guidelines to ensure consistency in the following areas:
• Timely and accurate billing practices
• Accounts payable – tracking jobs/cost of goods sold
• Accounts receivable – ensuring/researching/customer call regarding timeliness of receivables
• Processing of credit card charges
• Expensify entries
• PO processing
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections; provide guidance to division managers

· Observe, review, and analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement

· Deliver reports to division managers and senior management team to provide insight into the organization's overall efficiency

· Collaborate with management and executives to set departmental and organization-wide goals

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 10 years of senior management and/or controller experience with a strong background in operations
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems; proficiency in project management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with management and cross-functional teams
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities

· Ability to give and receive feedback and constructive criticism from various channels

· Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving skills

· Methodical approach to analyzing processes and systems

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

· Experience in the company's industry

· Experience with business-related software packages and their deployment

· Knowledge of Microsoft products, QuickBooks, Zoom, and remote meeting setup

· Experience tracking assets through their lifespan

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
