What we’re looking for:

We are looking for standout students to join our team for a 10-week, full-time paid internship. Individuals should show a relentless passion for learning about and digesting the deep-tech ecosystem globally. In this role, you’ll work closely across our programs and with our startups to perform activities such as financial analysis, technical due diligence, business development, high-level strategy, product road mapping, partnership analysis and much more.

What you’ll do:

• Work cross functionally within one or more FedTech teams.
• Learn about the dual-use, deep-tech ecosystem.
• Communicate complex topics with polished business communication skills on a regular basis.
• Analyze deep-tech trends across diverse communities such as the federal research lab ecosystem, venture capital providers, and emerging regional clusters.
• Assist with general resource needs such as content creation and curation.

Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

• Be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s level degree (science or engineering is not necessary, but it is a plus)
• Maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0. 
• Have a deep love of technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Loves meeting new people and building strong relationships with a wide range of people (e.g., university stakeholders, scientist/inventors, entrepreneur, investor, government, etc.).
• Exhibits positive and enthusiastic attitude; loves working in a fast-paced and fluid environment and can work under tight deadlines with a positive attitude.
• Tech savvy. Expert in a handful of SAAS systems and interested in learning other software as required. Medium to expert level in Excel and other MS Office software. Must be fluent in modern office software, including Google Suite.

Stipend: $25/ hour

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Location:

Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in person at our headquarters in Arlington, VA and 2 days remote).
